Easy Tuna Steak Marinade.
Ingredients:
¼ cup of soy sauce
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
10 garlic cloves minced
¼ tsp of toasted sesame oil
¼ tsp of dried thyme
¼ tsp of ground black pepper
Place all ingredients into a dish with a cover large enough to hold the tuna steaks.
Mix it all together.
Place tuna into tupperware making sure to cover all sides in marinade.
Cover and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes but the longer the better, I will normally let mine sit overnight.
Scarp off any excess marinade, and cook tuna steaks as you normally would.
We cook ours in a cast iron with some butter on high heat for about a minute on each side.
