Instant Pot Must Haves

I know the instant pot craze has kind of passed but I still am an instant pot enthusiast. While most of the time I am using the slow cook function rather than the pressure cook function, I do love being able to use the sauté function first so it’s only one pot at the end of the night.
The first thing you need, besides the instant pot, is another lid. The pressure cooking lid isn’t necessary unless you are actually using the pressure cooking. It can be cumbersome to use and clean so we got a separate lid that is much smaller, and easier to use. Plus at the end of the night, we can just throw this lid on the insert pot and throw it in the fridge for easy cleanup!
If you are truly crazy about instant pot cooking like me, having another insert is a must! That way while one of the pots is sitting in the fridge with leftover soup you have another one to use to make dinner!
Sometimes the lid can hold onto the smells of the food you cook. An easy fix to this is replacing the silicone ring in the lid. Plus these are fun colors!
When releasing pressure it can sometimes make a little mess. While the easy way to fix this is to throw a rag over the pressure release valve when letting the steam out…. or you can get this funny chicken. I vote chicken.
I love egg bites and these make delicious ones. Very similar to Starbucks! Plus easy storage!
I always thought cookbooks were a waste of space until I got this one. Now I am an addict. Everything from Milk Street is amazing but I think this one is my favorite. The Paprikash is one of my favorite recipes I have ever made.
